How our shuttle lace is made
Our machines and our wholesale shop are both in Mintgumri (Montgomery) Bazar, Faisalabad. Here is the process behind every roll.

Process
Six stages from thread to roll
- 01
Design and punching
Each lace design is drawn, repeated and prepared for the machine so the motif and scallop repeat cleanly along the strip.
- 02
Shuttle embroidery
Shuttle machines embroider the design in rows across a wide base. Dozens of strips are produced side by side in one pass.
- 03
Washing out the base
The embroidered base is dissolved away, leaving only the thread. This is why the product is also called chemical lace.
- 04
Drying and finishing
The lace is dried flat so the scallops keep their shape and the surface stays crisp.
- 05
Cutting and rolling
The sheet is cut into individual strips, each wound onto rolls of a set yardage.
- 06
Bundling and packing
Rolls are bundled by design and colour range, labelled and packed for the shop, cargo or export cartons.
