Terms of trade

Last updated 12 October 2026. These terms apply to wholesale and export orders placed with Decent Lace Trader.

Quotations

Prices are quoted per order in writing (WhatsApp or email) and are valid for the period stated on the quotation. Quotations exclude import duties and taxes in the destination country.

Orders and minimums

An order is confirmed when we acknowledge it in writing. Minimum order quantities and any deposit are stated on the quotation.

Samples, strike-offs and lab dips

Where a strike-off or lab dip is approved by the buyer, production that matches the approved sample is deemed conforming. Minor variation in shade and width within normal commercial tolerance is not a defect.

Payment

Payment terms are stated on the quotation or proforma invoice. Goods remain our property until paid in full.

Delivery

Dispatch dates are estimates given in good faith. Risk passes to the buyer on handover to the carrier unless the quotation states otherwise.

Claims

Please inspect goods on arrival and report any shortage or defect with photos within seven days. We will replace or credit conforming claims.
