How to order lace samples before a bulk order

What to ask for, how samples are sent, and how to test guipure lace on your fabric before placing a wholesale or export order.

Why sample first

A photo cannot show weight, hand feel or how a scallop sits on your fabric. A sample does. It also confirms that the colour you saw on a screen matches the thread. Every bulk order we take starts with a sample or a strike-off.

What to request

  • Design reference and size
  • One or two colours you plan to order most
  • A swatch card if you want to see the full colour range
  • For custom designs: a strike-off of your design in one colour

How samples are sent

Within Pakistan samples go by cargo or courier, usually the same day for stock designs. International samples go by courier to your door; the courier cost is quoted with the sample request and is often credited against the first bulk order.

Testing the sample

Sew a short length onto your production fabric with the stitch you will use. Wash it the way the garment will be washed. Check width, colour against the fabric, and whether the scallop lies flat on curves. Photograph the result and send it back with your feedback; we adjust before the bulk run.
